"a crane passed me by" is my debut album as banjotheopossum. this album was written in the span of three months and recorded in two. some of these songs first appear on the summer 2022 demo, but are rerecorded here as more cohesive ideas. this album explores themes of drug use, mental illness, relationships both platonic and romantic, as well as my thoughts on events of the past and my hopes for the future. this album serves as a photo of where i currently am as a young adult moving on to the next chapter of my life.
